With so many incredible international acts showing you a good time – and lots of fun-loving friendly Scottish people thrown in – T In The Park is an awesome festival you definitely want to check off your list before 30.
Held annually in Scotland since 1994, it is named after its main sponsor, the brewing company Tennents. It was originally held at Strathclyde Park, but in 1997 the venue was moved to its current location – a disused airfield in Balado, in Perth and Kinross, Scotland.
Acts appearing in the opening year included Primal Scream, Oasis, Crash Test Dummies, Blur, Manic Street Preachers, Rage Against the Machine and Cypress Hill. In1997 the event moved to its present site of Balado. Since moving, the festival has expanded in size and broadened the mix of bands to include Travis, Texas, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Garbage, Moby, Iggy Pop, Stereophonics, REM, The Proclaimers, The Darkness, Idlewild, Muse, The Polyphonic Spree, and The Chemical Brothers.
As well as music, there are also stalls, shops and other attractions including a large funfair complete with big wheel, plus a massive campsite.
Tickets to T In The Park go on sale in July and are available to purchase online through www.ticketmaster.co.uk or on the phone +448444 999 990. Make sure you get in quick because they sell out fast, some years after only 70 minutes.

Traditionally the campsite opens the last Sunday of June, which gives the festival guests plenty of time to settle in for a festival "warm up" which lasts four days. The festival officially starts the following Thursday at the Animal Showgrounds and lasts for a further four days.
There are four types of tickets you can purchase.
The minimum age for attending the festival without adult supervision is 16 years. Valid photographic ID is required for all festivalgoers.
T In The Park is held in the Perth and Kinross area of Scotland about 48kms north of its capital city Edinburgh.
